Aturan dan Ketentuan Kontes

• Nama Contest adalah "OctaFX Champion", selanjutnya disebut Kontes.
• Kontes ini diselenggarakan dan dijalankan oleh Octa Markets Incorporated yang selanjutnya disebut Perusahaan.
• Durasi kontes adalah 1 bulan dari tanggal awal sampai akhir bulan.
• Pendaftaran untuk kontes diumumkan terlebih dahulu sebelum dimulai. Selama periode pendaftaran siapa saja bisa mendaftar di kontes.
• Hadiah Kontes:
• Juara pertama mendapat 500 USD
• Juara kedua mendapat 300 USD
• Juara ketiga mendapat 100 USD
• Posisi terakhir mendapat 100 USD
• Hanya mereka yang cukup umur dapat mengambil bagian dalam kontes.
• Setiap peserta harus mendaftar demo akun baru untuk setiap periode kontes.
• Setiap peserta setuju untuk memberikan data sebenarnya selama pendaftaran. Memberikan data palsu dapat mengakibatkan diskualifikasi dari kontes.
• Jika ditemukan kesamaan alamat IP, akan dikenakan diskualifikasi.
• Setiap jenis arbitrase perdagangan atau penyalahgunaan lainnya terhadap harga dan atau quotes akan menjadi subjek untuk didiskualifikasi dari kontes.
• Perusahaan berhak untuk menolak atau mendiskualifikasi setiap peserta tanpa menjelaskan alasannya. Alasan pembatalan dapat termasuk membuka posisi dengan volume besar secara berlawanan di pasangan mata uang yang sama untuk akun trading yang berbeda di kisaran waktu yang sama, serta memanfaatkan kegagalan dalam aliran penawaran untuk mendapatkan jaminan keuntungan atau segala jenis kecurangan lainnya.
• Setiap akun kontes memiliki kondisi trading yang sama, yaitu:
• Jenis akun - mirip dengan akun ECN OctaFX
• Instrumen trading - mirip dengan akun ECN OctaFX

Pepperstone Demo Trading Contest 2015

1. Winning Criteria: Maximum Equity % Return.
2. On the MetaTrader 4 client terminal, you will login to the server 'Pepperstone-Demo02' .
3. Trading on trading platform is disabled until the contest begins.  If you are logged into platform when we enable trading, you will need to logout and then login again to be able to trade.
4. The top-10 traders will receive prizes that are paid into the client’s Pepperstone Trading Account in AUD: 1st Place $5,000, 2nd Place $2,000, 3rd Place $1,000, 4th Place $750, 5th Place $500, 6th Place $250, 7th Place $200, 8th Place $100, 9th Place $100 and 10th Place $100. Places 11-20 will receive $100 MT4 credit that can be used as equity but cannot be redeemed as cash. Places 21-30 will receive $50 MT4 credit that can be used as equity but cannot be redeemed as cash.The competitors with the highest equity gain at the end of the contest win. The winners may choose to have the prize added onto their existing Pepperstone live trading account or open a new live account where the prize money will be transferred. Winners also have the chance to withdraw prize money excluding MT4 credit prizes from the live trading account at any time. See Rule 20 below for list of ineligible countries. All participants are eligible to receive 20 commission free trades should they open a live ECN trading account (Pepperstone Razor Account) up to 100 lots in total. The 20 commission free trades offer will expire after 30 days of a live account being funded.
5. Participants who meet or exceed 50% equity drawdown will be disqualified. Drawdown is calculated based on peak to valley equity, thus new account highs will impact drawdown tolerance.

6. Leverage on all accounts will be set to 1:200 for the duration of the contest with margin calls set to 150% and margin stop outs set to 100% of required margin. Your opening simulated balance is $100,000 AUD.
7. Winners will be contacted after the contest ends by registered email address to collect payment info. Note that the Contest Sponsor may email promotional communications from which you may unsubscribe at any time.
8. Terms and rules may change at any time. Pepperstone, the contest host, and any other party involved in the running of the forex trading contest will not be liable to any other party for any consequential, indirect, special, incidental, punitive damages, or any damages or compensation of any kind.
9. Any participant intentionally hitting the demo price feed off market will be disqualified. We only review the trading activity of winners at the end of the contest to decide whether a contestant will be disqualified. If we cannot be reasonably sure gains are not largely due to the low slippage of a demo account the account is likely to be disqualified, therefore accounts with many trades open for a very short period will likely be disqualified. Unfortunately there is no 'perfect' way to moderate a demo trading contest and ensure no cheating, but if we do not implement these rules it will become a contest of who is the best at cheating, or in other words, taking advantage of latency arbitrage and lack of slippage. 10. Connecting and registering through public-facing servers (Web servers, VPS etc.) may result in your disqualification. We will not provide specifics about why, and realize this may disrupt some users who use a VPS for trading however at times this could be necessary for the protection of the integrity of the Pepperstone contest, and giving everyone a fair shot.
11. At contest end, open positions will be marked to market in order to calculate final metrics and placement.
12. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant at our sole discretion.
13. Note: You must be a registered Pepperstone live account holder to manage/withdraw your prize. Prizes not claimed within 30 days of contest end will be cancelled.
14. One entry per household and one IP. We reserve the right to track and enforce this using several tracking methods.
15. Winners will be notified by email and they must provide us with information that will allow us to pay the prize amount to their trading accounts. Any fees associated with payment will be deducted from winnings. Winners must respond to us within 30 days of contest end date to collect their prize otherwise the prize will become forfeited.
16. All Pepperstone stats accounts associated with contest demo trading accounts will be automatically suspended after the contest is completed; however, you will continue to be able to trade on the Pepperstone demo trading account, please contact Pepperstone Support if you would like to continue to track performance. Pepperstone Demo accounts expire within 30 days of account creation.
17. At the end of the contest please allow up to 5 business days for us to declare winners. We will investigate trading activity of the winning contestants to ensure it did not violate the contest rules as well as checking if the same user was using multiple logins. Disqualifications will be made as necessary and finally a message will be posted indicating that winners are officially declared and all contest winners in the rankings grid will inherit a green background to identify they are official winners.
18. Contest Sponsor and/or Contest Host staff may participate in the contest; these contestants are participating only for fun and learning and are auto-precluded from any winners listing and receipt of associated prizes.
19. Contest Eligibility: The Contest is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age completed at the starting point of the Contest and have reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction of their residence.
20. • Contest duration: The Contest starts at the commencement of trading on March 16th at 08:00 GMT and ends on April 14th at 21:00 GMT (market close) and is valid only to demo accounts. Registration period for this competition will close on March 15, 2015 (23:59 GMT)
• To participate in the FX Choice Contest you have to register for the contest providing the details requested. Each participant will have to be verified. Providing fake data may result in disqualification from the Contest. Each entrant need to be over 18 years old and must follow the instructions on (www.myfxbook.com) and create a Contest demo account provided by FX Choice. Every entrant is allowed to have one (1) account only. FX Choice reserves the right to refuse any person as an entrant.
